Description
Trainers agree that dry fire practice is the best way to learn to shoot well. It makes the pistol a part of you. However, there is a real problem with dry fire practicing the standard way, and we all know what it is. When the trigger is activated and the firing pin is released, a completely non-typical action is then required. The shooter’s hand must be used to reset the firing pin by cycling the slide. Only then can the trigger return to its reset position. Can you stay on target while this is happening? Is this the muscle memory that you want to build? Absolutely not!
This problem is solved with our DryFireMag. Now, with the DryFireMag, when you activate your trigger, you get the feel and sound of the firing pin release. With both hands still in the firing position and staying on target, you simply let the DryFireMag reset the trigger with a snap, and you are ready for your next “shot”. Now, that’s the kind of action you need to build the correct muscle memory! It has to be second nature when that real-life situation presents itself.
Here’s another way to use your DryFireMag. When you go to the range, slip your DryFireMag into your pistol and “warm-up” with a few minutes of dry fire practice. Take your DryFireMag out of your pistol, insert your loaded magazine and continue now with live practice.
If at any time during your practice, you experience a problem with your accuracy, simply replace your loaded mag with your DryFireMag and (after a chamber check) practice for a while without any live fire recoil or report. Change back and forth from live fire to dry fire with great ease! Remember, always practice safe gun practices! Always know the state of your weapon. DryFireMag LLC is in NO WAY responsible for your actions or how you use our products.
The DryFireMag’s base plate is a bright blaze orange to let you easily distinguish it from any other magazine. When your DryFireMag is not in your weapon, its stamp also clearly identifies it from any other magazine.

The mag was as described and well made. I didn’t get the spring kit, I will be, the trigger on my stock Smith is heavier.

One of the range instructors loaned me a Dry Fire Mag so I could get more reps with trigger press. I found it to be great as, with this mag, I don’t have to operate the slide between each trigger pull. It was so effective, I ordered on for myself. I have practiced dry firing more in the past two weeks than I have in the past two years. I can already tell my trigger press is much smoother. Absolutely worth the money!

Excellent product for home practice

I got mine at NRA Annual Meeting in Indy, been flogging it pretty hard: no issues. The only caveat is they changed to a glock style base pad. I completely understand the logistics cost of different parts; however, my mitts hang off the end of pistol. The short glock pad doesn’t match the factory base so I have a bit less support and it feel is slightly different.

Works great I like the fact that you can adjust the take-up and Trigger pressure with springs.

Awesome…New shooter. I need repetition with trigger control. Dry fire reps does the job for me and my DRY FIRE MAG is the tool that will help me achieve my goals! Had it for 2 days and I’m getting the reps in! Fits perfectly in my M&P m2.0 compact. Thanks!
Praying the Lord’s Blessings on your business and your families!!

I haven’t had mine long, but I have already noted some deficiencies in my trigger squeeze. This is a definite game changer. I hope they expand their inventory.

Hoping this will help me with my qualification

The mag is what I had needed to get me to really work on dry fire. I hated that I needed to rack the slide between shots. Now I can really track the front sight through repeated firings.

Really enjoy this so far. It’s nice to be able to dry fire without reracking after every trigger pull.

The magazine has been fantastic so far. I’ve been using it a lot already, the reset adjustment is very useful. The only thing keeping it from a five is that the spring kit only came with springs stronger than stock, I needed some lighter.

Very nice. Works great. Referred an instructor about it.

It arrived almost instantly. Started using it right out of the box. Love not having to rack the slide every time.

I’ve said some rude things about the Dry Fire mag when it first came out. For a $100 you can get yourself a high quality Tokyo Mauri airsoft pistol that mimics the same gun you own with the benefit of shooting an indoor safe projectile. However there is a very strong benefit of isolating your dry fire to not include any recoil mechanics, and it allows you to see the sight picture disturbed only by the input of your pull of the trigger. With rapid presses you can see how you grip and input is affecting the sight picture which would be masked by recoil on life fire or airsoft. It’s a worthy training tool even if you have all the ammo to work with.

Simple to use, saves a lot of money, and I get much more trigger practice. The spring kit allows an exact match to my actual trigger pull. Great product!

This is simply a game changer in firearms training. I am a firearms instructor, and this is a must have tool for any handgun owner. The ability to train like you would if you had a loaded mag, instead of normal dry fire practice with having to rack the side in between every shot, allows you to practice follow up shots smoothly. I use mine for tactical reload drills, drawing from concealed, and every other drill I can think of. If you are on the fence about this product, time to hop off. Get one (two would be better) today.
