We currently offer the DryFireMag for most Glock full frame pistols, Glock 43X & 48, Springfield XD, Smith & Wesson M&P, and Sig Sauer P320.
Excited to see how I might improve by getting more serious about dry fire training
I own several SIRT pistols and I own the Mantis training system but until now there was no way to realistically combine my carry gun with my dryfire/laser training. The Dryfire mag solved this problem beautifully. I can now take multiple dry fire shots with my Glock without having to reset the trigger and I can incorporate their laser for immediate feedback. Having the rail on the bottom of the mag for the Mantis sensor is just icing on the cake. It is quick, easy, and safe. The bright orange lets everyone know the gun is inert. Honestly I’m not sure I can advocate for traditional dry fire using a real gun without a safety device like the dryfire mag anymore…and I am a professional trainer for both law enforcement and civilians. Great product. The only thing I can’t comment on is how long it will last but I plan to put it through its paces and find out. Great job.
Great magazine. You can slide off the orange base and it is a perfect fit for the Mantis base for a complete dry fire kit. You can also adjust the trigger tension to match your original pull with a built-in adjustment or different springs with a spring kit. Really nice!
Showed up as advertised I'll update review when I get a chance to try it.
It's great for training draw, sight picture, and trigger reset.
I almost never leave a review, but this time I liked the mag so much that I decided to do that. great quality, I really foresee how it improves my ability to not bring the muzzle down right before the shot as well as placing the follow up shot.
It works great and will save me a ton of money on ammo.
The DRYFIREMAG Single Stack for my Glock 43X has completely transformed my dry fire training. Not only does it eliminate the need to rack the slide between shots, but it also pairs flawlessly with my Mantis X 10 Elite. The combination allows me to focus on consistent trigger pull while getting real-time feedback from the Mantis. Together, they make an unbeatable training setup for improving accuracy and technique without using live ammo. Setup is quick and easy, and it’s a safe way to train at home. If you're serious about precision and want to maximize your Mantis system, this is the perfect companion. Highly recommend for any Glock 43X/48 owner!
This is an excellent tool for dry fire practice. I definitely recommend it.
It is a little tight but once the clip is in it works very well. We went to the 6lb trigger pull and felt more realistic. Love it.
You folks rock! God bless 🙌
Appears to be a quality product, comes highly recommended; looking forward to training with it
Not only is this a great product that pays for itself the first time you use it, but it's made by a great company. Buy one, you'll love it, and you can feel good about supporting a family owned and operated small company that actually cares about quality. These are easy to get set up just right on your gun and even easier to use.
Makes drifire training a lot more realistic and beneficial. I also ordered the spring kit after the mag to customize the pull. I recommend getting the kit with the mag.
This is my second DryFire Mag with laser, my first one was for the Glock 19 X, and it worked perfectly right out of the box. This Dryfire Mag did need some adjustment of trigger break and laser settings before it became functional on my Glock 48, however, the videos from DryFire were easy to follow, and in no time the mag and laser were working perfectly!
Well packaged. All batteries were over 4.5v.
Great addition for those who have went to a different after-market and or Glock Performance Trigger. Easy to swap, easy to use, easy to store away of course. 10/10
Worked out of the box on a stock P320. Needed a small adjustment for my modified X5 Legion, but customer support was quick to respond and adjustment was easy
This product is very well made and functions beautifully. This is my second purchase; I also have one for my double stack Glocks. This tool is great for training. It has improved my skills and confidence. And it is more fun drawing & firing around the house (in an absolute safe way with a clear gun and live ammo locked up) than any game console. I so happy I found this product from Crackshot TV on YT. He demoed only the regular mag. But getting the smart mag and laser is a better option and it has been a game changer.
The smartest practice tool I've ever used. I use it with a popular dry fire practice application and it's perfect. I highly recommend the Dry Fire Mag.
I wish I would have bought this years ago. Waiting to see match results after this new dry fire tool.
Works as advertised in both my Glock 43X and G48 MOS. Very happy with it!
Great product for dry fire drills. I highly recommend the spring kit to get you close to your actual gun setup.
This is a best dry fire training tool one could have for your Glocks. Helps me to practice the trigger pull during my dry fire training. I love it and highly recommend
Trigger break is strong and crisp on my Glock 19. Great for isolating trigger finger issues and pretty much a necessity for practicing Bill drills and other multi-shot dry fire practice. Pairs great with the MantisX system. If you're a Glock shooter who takes dry fire seriously, I feel like having one of these is mandatory.
This was purchased to use with a MantisX training system. Dry firing our Glock 19 using this makes it a joy as it basically runs the trigger like a DA. It does require some software adjustments due to the trigger return being quite audible, but that was not a problem. Dry firing without this is a drag and and I can tell you that you will be more likely to practice with having the automatic trigger reset.
Worked out of the box and my 320 is not stock. Added a MantisX to the bottom and so far like the results.
I have the dryfire mag. I bought the smart dryfire mag. It is awesome and super useful. No more unneeded racking.
This mag and the laser that came with works! The fact that I don't have to rack the slide every time to reset the trigger is made my dryfire practice a consistent thing to do. I had a goal to dryfire 100 shots per practice, this mag made it possible. I have the 3.5 lbs trigger in my G19 and pull feels the same, have not tried the springs I ordered and I don't think I need them. I was skeptical about ordering after reading lots of reviews and the price but I "pull the trigger" and have no regrets. I wish there was a mag for the G42.
Honestly has been a huge game changer for my dry fire shenanigans. Works great, super easy to set up, and now i have been dry firing with my little red laser everywhere and anywhere I go. 10 out of 10 will buy again.
get one
Next level cool! been shooting at light switches and door knobs all afternoon
Makes dry firing fun again
This combined with MantisX is a game changer! Very realistic and I was able to work on a more consistent trigger pull without the trip to the range or the expense of ammo.
I have used the Dry Fire every day since I received it. 500 + shots so fare and not a single problem. It beats all the other systems I have used over the many years I have been a shooter. A bit pricey but so far worth it.
Works great! Awesome capability because of compatibility with other dry fire training tools. Tech Support assisted me in fine-tuning the timing synch for the trigger break and laser for my Sig P320 AXG. Have used SmartDryFireMag successfully with Mantis Laser Academy. Working on the settings in Mantis X10 to also train SDFM with it.
Works great with glock 19 and mantisx and mantis academy apps/targets. Great dryfire solution. No more slide racking for each shot.
Very fast shipping and delivery
DryFireMag for Springfield XDM, this DryFireMag is perfection it works so well and if it's married to the Mantis X10 Elite it's a pair match made for the best gun training without putting a bullet down. The mag it's self is made so well being mechanical and no batteries needed get the spring kit allowing a finer trigger function.
I really enjoy this product. I do have the Shield Arms adapter and Magazine release. I have no problems inserting the Magazine, although it is a big hard to extract once finished dryfiring. Other than this, Great Product..
Awesome product, I love practicing with it.
This dry fire magazine is awesome, great, combined with the Mantis x elite system is a absolute best buy for in home practicing. It works so well I've even bought a second dry fire magazine for the other pistol of mine, and when the H&K VP9 dry fire magazine comes out I'll buy this one also. The H&K VP9 Tactical is my conceal and carry pistol every day. What a great product!!!
I bought my DryFireMag last November as a birthday present for myself. The more I use it the more I learn about how the trigger on my XD-40 feels. Now I can feel the slack in the trigger, the "wall" just before the trigger breaks, and the reset after the shot. After using the DryFireMag for about six weeks, my son and I went to a local outdoor range where I was able to not only shoot faster, but more accurately and I had better control of the recoil when I fired my pistol. Of all of the things that I have brought for my XD-40, I should have started with a DryFireMag. I can honestly say that you SHOULD buy your DryFireMag as soon as possible. Stop second guessing yourself and buy it. You'll be glad that you did. A friend of owned an indoor range told me that the only way that I was going to stop antispating the recoil was to practice dryfiring. He was right and the DryFireMag did the trick.
Purchased P320 DryFireMag for my Sig M18 with "Forward Set Trigger Kit for Sig P320" works great. After talking to Gary DryFireMag Tech Support who gave me assistance to make necessary adjustments to my MantisX works like charm. Up your dry firing to the next level and make that purchase.
Fast service. Excellent design and craftsmanship. Closely simulates actual trigger pull which is useful for dry fire training.
Great tool to continue to train with. Would buy again. Money well spent.
A valuable training tool ! I love it.
Best thing since sliced bread.
Technical Support was great. The phone was answered right away by a live person, Gary, who listened, and spoke very clearly. He sent me a video link on troubleshooting. I called Gary two more times to clarify. He was patient and I was able to fix the problem with my Smart SureFireMag with Laser.
I have an M&P with an APEX trigger kit so I was concerned about the function of the Dry Fire Magazine. I made my selection and received the order faster than expected. It was exactly what I ordered, and after a simple (and common) adjustment, the Dry Fire Magazine performed flawlessly. My only suggestion to the customer is to know what weapon and trigger assembly you have. I will recommend this training tool to others.
Excellent works flawlessly
Works great! Very happy with it.
Feels like the same exact trigger pull as if there was a live magazine inserted inside my weapon.
It’s not the same as the striker releasing every time, but it’s close enough to get the feeling down. Plus, not having to break your grip allows you to practice transitioning from target to target, and you can observe what your hands and arms are doing during rapid fire.
Works as advertised, and has become my go to tool cor my daily dry fire. There is only one downside to this product… my wife says she’s starting to go nuts from all the “clicking” going on.
Works just as advertised. Get one and dramatically improve your hits! Like hitting unlimited range balls. You committed to owning a gun, now commit increasing your proficiency. High quality kit.
Love it! I get so much more practice in. I wasn’t spending the time dry firing until I got this. Now I’ve gotten much better. It also make Mantis X more enjoyable.
Really like the dry fire mag. Set up perfect right out of the box. No more racking the slide between shots.
Pairs well with Mantis X.
I love it. This is my second dryfiremag. My agency switched from glock to the m&p one of the first things I did was get a new dryfiremag. I’ve noticed myself become a much better shooter when I’m training with one. Definitely worth the investment.
Great product to reproduce the trigger pull and reset without racking the slide on my carry Glock. It allows the opportunity to use multiple targets, movement and fire positions which adds realistic training to a “Dry Fire” session. Christian literature was a bonus.
Works great
Combined with the Smart Dryfiremag, works wirelessly, without striker/firing pin contact with laser cartridge. Brilliant design.
Works perfectly with my G17, G19, and G23. No need to cycle slide after each dry fire 'shot'. Excellent practice tool when paired with SureStrike Laser Cartridge.
I bought this after trying one at a training class. It makes training better. Also I was very happy to see the extra paperwork that is included.
Good training tool and great company to deal with!
GOOD!
The Dry Fire Mag is a great training aid which we are now using in our firearm course. It gives our students a better understand of what travel is, trigger prep, the wall and break. It’s good to know that now we can save money on ammo and the range. We are looking at the laser dry fire mag system as well. No more racking the slide now we can now focus on the target. This is a game changer you definitely need this mag. see our video at Borne Warrior Tactical Firearms: https://youtu.be/mqXmJ9ipsyM?feature=shared
Excellent training aid I recommend it to all my clients
Great product
This product will be a great training tool to improve my trigger pull without having to stop and rack my Glock after every pull.
This system is, IMHO, the best to quickly learn to use and stay proficient your firearm. All while in your own home. I loved it right out of the box.
My DryFireMag arrived less than two days ago, and it's already been a gamechanger that's vastly improved my dry fire practice. *Great* product with solid construction. I'd recommend it to everyone.
Best thing I've bought in a long time. I use it almost nightly to get some trigger time. I highly recommend.
Works great and feels solid !!
These are awesome - please make one for the PDP/PPQ/Q series pistols from walther!
I have been waiting for the DryfireMag for the Glock 48 to come out and it didn't disappoint! It has made my daily dryfire practice so much easier! I haven't had any issues with it and it pairs great with my Mantis X10! Now if they will create one for the Walther PDP-F, I will be set! :)
As an instructor I find this to be an invaluable teaching tool.
Came sooner than expected and works as described. Glad to know it there is a setting specifically for it on the mantis x app. I appreciate the ministry work as well. God bless.
This system is exactly what I have been looking for. I have a variety of training-aids, but this is by far the most superior system out there in my opinion. I do wish the Mantis system would do a better job on picking up my shots more consistently, but I have combined this with the use of the LasrX software and it works great for my needs and lifestyle!!! Well worth the investment!!
Great product, needs initial adjustments. Great customer service!
Works as advertised. Great for front sight focusing. Definitely worth your investment and time.
Excellent product. Leveled up my dry fire training tremendously. Can already feel the difference. Side note: I also enjoyed the little booklet that came with the mag!
Outstanding product and eliminating the need to re-rack the slide prevents unwanted muscle memory during dry fire practice. Very happy with my purchase. Make sure to care for the laser round that is provided with this kit because it's unique rf capabilities are not standard with the laser rounds you can get from laserammo.com. Sfter talking with their tech support, there would need to be special arrangements to replace the round.
Easy to use. Works as described. Does not work with my other laser ammo laser. I didn't expect it to.
Great product. Love the Word of God that comes with it. If you had a laser that accompanied would be even better.
Great trainer! I was able to use it with the mantis laser academy strait out of the box. The advantages are you aim with your own sights and you use your own gun. Minor disadvantage is that you are not using your gun's trigger pull. The trigger pull ,however, is adjustable and is very close to the real trigger.. The kit is a bit pricey but, it appears to be built solid.
I loaded the dryfire mag in my S&W M&P and began practicing right away! Works exactly as it said it would form the start!
Works flawlessly. I had previously bought the standard P320 dryfire mag. When the smartmag came out I jumped on it immediately. I use this in conjunction with the Laser Ammo I-MTTS targets. Perfect for transition drills. Also great for holster drills using the Mantis X10. Dryfire training is vitally important and DryFireMag has made it worth the investment cost.
Absolute game changer for dry fire practice, coupled with amazing customer service! Unfortunately, the first unit shipped to me was defective, but after calling customer support and doing some troubleshooting they determined it wasn’t working properly so they shipped me out a replacemen (and a shipping label to return the defective unit) no questions asked…replacement unit works perfectly! Not only will this completely change my dry fire sessions for the better, but with this level of customer care I’m a customer for life! Thank you!
Fine product. It worked in my Glocks without needing any adjustments. I recommend this product
Thank You for the additional spiritual information.
This dryfire mag works great! I like that you can fine tune it to your trigger. My DryFireMag needed adjusting done for the "breaking point" of the trigger pull even though my trigger is factory. I've been waiting half a year for this product and its finally here!
DryFireMag embodies outstanding customer service - thank you, Debbie, and an exceptionally well-made product. I just gave mine a quick test and look forward to using this training tool [paired with Manits Laser Academy]. I have the original DryFireMag that I use with Mantis X Elite, and this new rendition is a game-changer. Moreover, the notch for the USB to pair with the Mantis X Elite is an exceptional innovation for DryFireMag customers. Bravo! [With Red (Visible) Laser Without Spring Kit]
Now my hands is sore with all this dry fire. Glock knuckle and all now. you can adjust the break of the trigger and i ordered the Spring kit. after a day of dry fire then I went straight to the heavy spring so that I can practice keep the pull smooth. This many trigger pulls without dropping the dropping the striker is crazy. I shoot for fun and USPSA and this is great trigger time.
Great to be able to practice dry-fire without racking the slide every time
I love using the dryfiremag paired with the mantis x10! Great training aid for holster work and transitions. Had some minor issues getting the x10 to record every shot. It works better for me to have the Mantis mounted on the bottom of the mag. I want to purchase the laser, but it appears I have to buy the entire kit?
It works as advertised. However, it doesn’t work with sound activated laser systems like LaserLite PRE, but nobody said that it would.
Great addition to able to double tap for my dry fire training with Mantis X!!
Perfect for training
Tested it out on a friends Glock lately, and l absolutely love it! Any chance there will be a Walther PDP version? Would love to train with my service pistol..
Works great. I will use it often to practice my trigger squeeze. I also love the Christian message sent with the product. Thank you DryFireMag.
The purchase was seamless and the product arrived timely. It worked out of the box with no problems. Loving it, and have recommended it to a friend. Will I buy more? Yes, of course! Who wants to leave something that good for the birds? I love the fact that this mag will obviously send my bad habit , racking the slide of my pistol, packing. Who wanna be racking when the time comes? Not me!
Works perfectly
So easy to use, and you get to practice trigger control at home without spending $ on ammo. Would highly recommend!
Great for training at home and provides reps.
This thing is amazing. Absolutely makes dry fire a pleasure. No more racking the slide, red laser makes it where you can use it with Mantis Laser Academy or any other laser apps. I don’t know of anything I’d change.
PLEASE MAKE ONE FOR THE WALTHER PDP-PDPF FAMILY OF HANDGUNS! 😃 What an awesome product. I have the Glock 9mm version, and it mimicks the Glock stock trigger perfectly, even down to the slight bit of mush after the wall before the break. This is a GREAT way for me to practice conquering the infamous Glock trigger. Gonna pair it with the MantisX system for some real fun and hopefully real progress! God bless you guys for using your business as a ministry as well!
I absolutely love using the smart laser mag in conjunction with several VR Range systems that I've been testing out. The first one is from www.dryfireonline.com, you have a "sandbox" range through their website the laser will interact with using the Dryfire Online app. However, it requires the need of larger displays. Such as, computer HDMI to a projector/screen combo. Or a smart TV with an anti glare film so that the visible laser can be detected by the app. The other one is Virtual Shot and their hardware system/app combined with the laser dry fire mag. You can also have a "sandbox" VR range, without the need to use external displays as mentioned before. For content demonstrating the systems mentioned in conjunction with the product, follow me on IG @tactical_goku.
Perfect for being able to dry fire and get more precise. The entire family had fun. The amount of shots we did the first nights use paid for itself if we would have shot that amount of ammo.
This thing is fantastic the the slimline
works great. so far would recommend to anyone. used off and on and noticed quickly when I was breaking down my grip and rushing a shot. easy to correct.
Great improvement over manual racking the slide
Works good had to swap out the spring it came with for the black one in the pack after the swap it worked as expected
The spring kit allowed me to adjust the trigger close to the original pull for dry fire simulation. I recommend spending the extra to get them with the mag purchase.
I have the Smart DryFireMag (red laser version with the spring kit) for my Glock 43X and I'm using the LASR app. I'm a relatively new shooter (4yrs) and I've seen accuracy of improvement on the range because the DryFireMag is helping with my trigger control. Well worth the money if you want to improve your skills. Just placed an order for another one for my Glock 19!
Love it! Great training tool! I own 2 of them for 2 of my Glocks, 19x and 43x. Wish there were more models so I could use this device in some of my other firearms! I HIGHLY recommend!!
Excellent for working on trigger control, just would like for them to drop out of magwell when mag released is pushed for working on mag changes. I know this is not the reason for the mag, so still give 5 stars for its true purpose.
Please make the smart mag for Sig 365. I have dry fired about 1,000 pulls at this point. 90% of my pulls have been with the Mantis printed off targets and app. It’s nice to have the option of different springs for the trigger pull. I can’t imagine using Mantis without the smart mag and laser. Smart mag seems to work flawless to this point with the Mantis. Only con so far would be that the mag does not drop out of magwell when the mag release is pushed. Would like to be able to practice reloads. I know that’s probably not really a main point of these mags. I just need to get smart mags for my wife and daughters 365 also, if and when they’re available.
Great product, works perfectly with my Glock 43X, what an awesome experience every time I use it.
This thing is awesome. Took me a while to get used too. It helped with my aim and trigger squeeze a lot. I'm more of a rifleman but I conceal carry. So fundamentals are important.
I have a couple other 9mm laser cartridges and they work fine, but the obvious shortcoming is that you have to rack after every trigger pull and that's ok for certain drills such as reloads but any drill that requires multiple trigger pulls, well you need a DRYFIREMAG period.
I love it. It worked right out of the box. I didn’t even need to do any adjustments. It also works with my MantisX and Laser Academy. My lucky day.
Fast shipping, secure packaging and product (hard to find batteries) was exactly as represented by DryFireMag. Thank you!
If you’re serious about developing proper grip and align sights this drymag helps with getting good reps. Definitely worth it.
Works great right out of the box, with my SIG P320. I didn't have to make any adjustments to the mag.
Works great with my MR920. Save the $10 and get the blemished version while they last
I purchased the Dry fire Mag to link with my Mantis X2 I order to dry fire practice for USPSA. Mantis actually has a setting for the Dry Fire Mag. Transitions from target to target is my main goal to improve and quicken. If the Mantis was not linkable with the Dry Fire Mag, I would have never purchased the Mantis. But the Dry Fire Mag is so much better than placing something in the action to allow the Glock trigger to move freely. My son actually won a Dry Fire Mag in area 8 championships. We both compete in USPSA together. Can’t say enough about the Dry Fire Mag is what you need to dry fire properly.
Works perfectly.
I'm glad I was told about this product I have been dry firing and yes it so much better not having to rack the action every time.
This is the 2nd purchase. Upgraded to the smart mg with laser. Works awesome with my mantis x and mantis laser Academy. It’s great not having to rack the slide every time. You’re able to perform follow up shots when training. Worth every penny.
Is just what I was looking for to practice dry fire trigger pull.
Excellent. Exactly what was needed to assist in monitoring trigger/gun movement
Just as Mr. Cook before me, I bought this Smart DryFireMag with red laser for use with Mantis Laser Academy. I had to do a trigger pre-travel adjustment as well as change the spring to the heavier 6-7.5 lb. to more closely replicate what I perceive my Palmetto State Armory Dagger’s trigger pull to be. It’s more that the DryFireMag is on the light side rather than my Dagger is actually a 7.5 lb. pull. After all that being said, the Smart DryFireMag is a good tool eliminating the need to rack your slide after every shot during dry fire training.
After looking at the DryFireMag website for a year, I finally ordered one to fit my XD-40. It arrived, I cleared my XD-40, cycled the slide, inserted the DryFireMag, and nothing. After calling tech support to adjust the set screw everything works perfectly!!!! My days of having to re-establish my grip after cycling the slide. If you don't have a DryFireMag, you need to get one.
Easy to use, not at all what I expected. But super useful especially for the novice. Thanks soo much
Great dry practice tool for times and rapid fire exercises.
Works exactly like the model for my glock 22. Excellent training aid.
Some of the best money I have spent to help me on my site alinement and triger control.
The magazine allows for trigger reset without cycling the slide each time during dry fire practice. It is also good for practicing presentations and addressing multiple targets during practice. I am pleased with the product and purchase.
Well worth the cost, great training tool for reset trigger control in conjunction with using a red dot...
The red laser version is a perfect addition to a Mantis Laser Academy (my preferred) or Strikeman / Strikeman Pro setup. No more racking the Glock 19. Works every shot.
I very much like the DryFire mag. It's not a perfect analog for the real trigger pull, but it gets as close as you can get, and really does help you control your grip and finger movement during the trigger press to keep the pistol from wavering. It also makes you realize how many training scars you build up by racking the slide between shots while doing a normal dry fire session and helps eliminate that problem. Ive also found that the spacers for the 15 round M&P compact magazines will fit correctly on the DF mag, and allow you to get the feel of a full sized mag in your Compact M&P. Well worth the price of admission. Now, if we can just get DryFireMag to make a compact length M&P mag, a Shield Plus, and a CZ P-10 mag, I would be a happy camper.
The trigger's not *exact* but it's much better (and less expensive) than a separate laser pistol (and light years better than forming bad habits (racking the slide after each shot)).
Very nice for practice I managed to pretty well match my trigger pull.
Works as advertised on three Glock 40's (22, 23, & 27). Mag fits tight, but slap the base and it goes in. Of course, it doesn't replicate gun's recoil, but it rapidly demonstrates any sight movements on target...showing I need to work on that skill. I view the DryFireMag as a good tool to build one's gun skills.
Dry Fire Mag is an invaluable tool for firearms mastery. Used in conjunction with mantis X10 and you have the ability to dramatically improve your time, accuracy, trigger control and eliminate the need to manually recycle your slide after each shot. Money well spent and I highly recommend.
Matches original trigger pull very closely.
Works. A great aid in drynfiring
I use the DryFire Mag with my Mantis X3 and both systems work so well together. They let me concentrate on improving my shooting skills because I never I never lose my site picture or grip racking the slide. Well worth the investment.
Works great on its own and with MantisX
Love this tool. Purchased one for S&W pm 2.0 Pro Core which worked great. Waiting for one in Springfield Echelon.
Excellent, works great
Working beautifully
I am a firearms instructor and a firm believer in dry firing. I have recently just switched from an HK USP 40c to a Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS. I carried the HK for almost 20 years. What a change. I am trying to get used to the Glock platform. The "Dry fire Mag" has helped me get accustomed to the Glock.
Outstanding product and service. Performed as advertised.
Fantastic device, also found out the company is owned by a Christian, which I also love. Will be recommending to my friends.
Works as described, excellent customer service.
It’s true, a modified 43x with a shield arms magazine release is super hard to insert / remove the DryFireMag. I reinstalled the stock Glock 43x mag release and it’s way easier, still have to strip the mag but again way easier. No more dry fire practice with negative muscle memory training. I like it, my wife likes it, and we highly recommend the DryFireMag!!
Love it , great invention !!
The mag was as described and well made. I didn't get the spring kit, I will be, the trigger on my stock Smith is heavier.
The smallest, simplest little piece of kit you didn't realize you ABSOLUTELY NEED!
Awesome trigger pull practice with this magazine. Resets nicely without having to rack the slide each time.
One of the range instructors loaned me a Dry Fire Mag so I could get more reps with trigger press. I found it to be great as, with this mag, I don't have to operate the slide between each trigger pull. It was so effective, I ordered on for myself. I have practiced dry firing more in the past two weeks than I have in the past two years. I can already tell my trigger press is much smoother. Absolutely worth the money!
This product is excellent. It is just what I needed for dry fire practice. The Smart Dryfire Mag for the Glock 43x is made well, fits the gun well and is extremely easy to use. I charged it up and began to use it. It was perfect for me right out of the box with no adjustments, but if needed you get very detailed instructions on how to make adjustments. I finally have a visible laser without having to rack the slide. It works well with the Mantis Laser Academy also.
A great practice tool. I highly recommend it.
Fantastic tool to use along with the mantis system for dry fire training! Exactly what is needed to practice at home and save some range rounds. Easy to use, spring kit is nice to have for modified triggers. I have one for an Sig as well. Highly recommend.
For practice and dry firing this is awesome, thank you for making my dry firing easy. And helps me to become better in all aspects!
Excellent product for home practice
Saw these blems posted up on DryFireMag Instagram and had to snag one for my G19. Besides what they posted about the blem which was a small ding it was pretty much like new and flawless with how it performed. The extra springs to tune and adjust is a nice feature (extra cost). I’ve been spending some times about 10-15 minutes a day using the DryFireMag since I received it. Definitely helps with finger reps and drawing the firearm out.
First purchased as a recommendation from one of the range instructors in my police academy. It's now 4 years later since I graduated and I still use it quite a bit to stay sharp when I can't get out to the range. I recommend it to all the people I field train and guys who struggle with quals. Dry fire will never replace live fire but I firmly believe someone who uses this a few times a week will be able to out perform anyone who only live fires once a month. Helps improve trigger control and used with the Mantis system it's even better. I recently had it finally stop working from use and they repaired it at a cost just under $20 very quickly. Couldn't be happier and would like to pick up the new laser integrated one when I can afford to.
I like being able to practice my draw out to the trigger pull without having to reset the trigger. The mag had to be adjusted right out-of the box, it would not reset so there was only 1 trigger pull. I tried turning the screw as it says to adjust the trigger pull and the magic started. My version of the manual did not tell you this might happen, however, there is a YouTube video that shows the process. This is a good investment.
Works great with me P320
Great product after setting the trigger weight it works great I paired it with the mantis X and it takes things to the next level.
Excellent trainer to stop pulling shots to the left
Great training device for improving trigger control, accuracy and speed.
This is an awesome dry firing tool that will help you take your game to the next level. I’m so glad that someone thought of this. 😎👍
Great product! As they state, if you have the shield arms mag release, you’ll really have a tough time getting it out. I actually end up having to lock the slide back, push down the mag release as hard as possible, and then use a standard screwdriver to press down from the top to release the dry fire mag. It is a bit of a pain, however I feel it’s worth it to get the practice, especially with the Mantis system. I may actually switch to the PSA sub-compact magazines and go back to a polymer mag release to make it easier (the PSA mags are 15rds single stack and are compatible with the 48 and 43x). Hopefully this helps buyers out, thank you to Dry Fire for coming out with the single stack, and continuing to make great products!!
Fits great, has some weight to it, and works with my Mantis X laser trainer device.
Works great
Excellent! A must have for dry fire practice.
Just received the magazine. Only used it on a few students so far. Wonderful design and great teaching aid. Worked flawlessly on each students individual pistol.
The Mag is very well made. Sturdy and the different weight springs are easily swapped out. Makes dry firing a lot easier without constantly racking your slide. Great for trigger control training. The company also added in a lot of extra paperwork for my specific model on where to lube and what type of lube to use. Also sent a small booklet with Bible verses and a little pamphlet on Bible history which was rather cool to read. All in all great product and glad to own it.
Amazing product. This makes fry fire training a breeze. 200% would recommend
Using with Mantis X- having a blast!!! Shooting Glock 34. Would love to have one for Caniks!!!
Well worth the $. I can just sit and practice or stand anywhere in my house. Great training tool!!
Durable and and easy to use. Great training tool to work multiple trigger press with consistent pressure and helping newer shooters with proper trigger squeeze.
The color pops and really helps with showing a inert pistol. Durable and and easy to use. Great training tool to work multiple trigger press with consistent pressure and helping newer shooters with proper trigger squeeze.
Awesome product. Very instrumental for dry firing practice. Very realistic feel of the trigger pull, and for trigger reset. Very fast delivery. I can’t say enough how great this product is.
Great tool to train at home.
This is a valuable training aid without a doubt. I had seen them displayed some years ago and had doubts compared to other products on the market but regret not investing in one earlier. Theyre simple to use, produce a nice audible click and reset without requiring any slide manipulation. Simply put, I would buy again and have recommended to friends who are both new to shooting and those whom compete.

Works as advertised. Can now take multiple shots without racking each time. Easy to practice transitions now.
Thanks for a great product! The #P9 DryFireMag works superbly, just as advertised, in my P320 AXG Classic and P320 AXG Scorpion.
The perfect magazine to help with dryfire along with trigger pull to help with Double taps etc...
Thank you for an excellent, very clever product! The #P9 DryFireMag works perfectly in both my Sig Sauer P320 AXG Scorpion and my P320 AXG Classic (so be assured, readers, if you own one of those two 320 variants). My dry fire training now is radically improved: instead of constant racking of the slide I can focus on trigger control, double taps, and move-n-shoot drills. Excellent product!
I love it! Great for training
Works perfectly
After just a few days of use my skills improved dramatically. This is the best training device I’ve invested in. Well worth it.
The DryFireMag allows you to practice shooting the way you do on the range. No need to continue racking the slide to reset the trigger. Thank you DryFireMag for your excellent products. God bless you.
This mag helps you in so many ways. Great product.
Thank you for the order, it was filled and delivered very quickly.
So simple even I can use it! J. Cota
This is a great tool! I didn't realize how hard it was to pull the trigger repeatedly in quick succession even with a lighter trigger. Will definitely keep training with this before I go to the range next
It works great!
Awesome trainer magazine! The DryFireMag has really taken my dry fire training to the next level. I'm looking forward for one to become available for my P365 X Macro. I will be purchasing from DryFireMag again, thank you!
Received it in the afternoon starting using it that evening. I could see the improvement in a more consistent trigger pull with less movement enjoy getting the instant feed back.
The mag is great! It's very helpful in that it allows me to practice my technique as much as I want without causing any harm to my firearm
Great product, works as advertised. Very convenient not having to rack the slide every trigger pull. Shipped in a timely manner, very good experience overall.
This is a great tool and it's easy to set up. Inbox instructions were easy to follow.
I got mine at NRA Annual Meeting in Indy, been flogging it pretty hard: no issues. The only caveat is they changed to a glock style base pad. I completely understand the logistics cost of different parts; however, my mitts hang off the end of pistol. The short glock pad doesn't match the factory base so I have a bit less support and it feel is slightly different.
works as advertised. makes dry fire training a whole lot easier
Great for newer shooters that need to practice trigger control/flinching.
Excellent training aid. Realistic trigger pull.
Works great I like the fact that you can adjust the take-up and Trigger pressure with springs.
Good product... Good way to build up skills...
I was hesitant at first but once installed, this thing is a game changer! I highly recommend this for improving your trigger control! If your running a dot it’s a must!
The DRY FIRE MAG ROCKS!!! VOTE TRUMP 2024!!!
Does exactly what it’s says it does.
Awesome...New shooter. I need repetition with trigger control. Dry fire reps does the job for me and my DRY FIRE MAG is the tool that will help me achieve my goals! Had it for 2 days and I'm getting the reps in! Fits perfectly in my M&P m2.0 compact. Thanks! Praying the Lord's Blessings on your business and your families!!
Once I adjusted it to allow for proper trigger reset, it works well with the Mantis X2 Dry Fire Shooting Performance System.
Truly added benefit to my dry fire training!!
Extremely happy with this device! It is making it easier to do dry fire practice. No longer need to keep racking the slide to pull the trigger.
Extremely happy with this device! It is making it easier to do dry fire practice. No longer need to keep racking the slide to pull the trigger.

ease of use makes me want to Dry Fire more often
Magazines worked flawlessly as advertised. Great training Tool.
Best training tool that I have purchased besides ammunition!
Works great and actually saves lots of money.
Great training aid.
Best training tool that I have purchased excluding ammunition! It works as intended and came with clear instructions.
arrived earlier - Yeah! with a sweet little Bible verse book!
Great product, great company. Thanks for the pocket Bible 🙏💯
Fast turnaround, from order to fulfillment, to shipping! Fantastic customer service!! I am telling everyone I know, recommending and WILL order again!
I bought a DryFireMag for my Glock g17 about a week ago and have been using it daily. I am completely satisfied. I can practice my stance, grip, sighting, and trigger pull repeatedly without racking the slide and avoiding unnecessary wear on my barrel. In fact, as soon as I finish this review, I will be ordering another one for my g43x.
Great product. Has made dry fire alot more fun, and enjoyable. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Works great for a Glock 48
Great product, l am very pleased with it.
Works great. Perfect for dry fire practice.
Enables me to do dryfire drills and work on trigger pull at same time without having to stop and rack the slide.
Can you train without it. Sure. you can put a rubber band in the chamber of your Glock or just keep racking the slide. But it's nice having the same trigger pull. I didn't think it would be as good as the laser. I was wrong. I did notice I was slapping the tripper on fast holster draws. It's better than just "turning money into noise" and wasting ammo. It broke me of a bad habit I didn't even know I had.
Used my son's DryFireMag for a week and ordered one for myself. Very helpful to see trigger pull movement w/o recoil. Very helpful to run thru the "Dot Torture" chart in my bedroom daily without the cost of ammo! Great product!
Great product! Really helps with my dry fire training accuracy and timing. Wish there was a model for Glock 43x
This really helps with trigger control
Works great! Very helpful for training.
Great product. Took a little adjustment. But works great.
Easy to use and practical!!!
Great product, fantastic service. Will buy again for sure. They are truly awesome!!!
Swapped the spring and seamlessly began training with the MantisX. Shared it with my shooting group and I'm sure you'll have orders Monday. No more bad muscle memory having to rack the slide. And no batteries. Nice work DryFireMag.
A very helpful tool for your training toolbox!
Works great, has some nice weight to it. Built well...love the adjustable trigger pull! I have been using it everyday...really helps!! Thanks 🇺🇸👍🏻
Came on time, works great on my Springfield XD 9 mil. Thanks!
Bought this for my daughter's Glock 19 range gun. She uses it every morning and loves it.
Simple but effective,
Great tool to not develop bad habits while dry fire practice.
Work Great-To improve shooting skill
Product worked as advertised with little to no learning curve. Directions in the box helped answer any questions. Also good walkthrough confirmed the product would work prior to purchasing for sig sauer M17/P32O. I only wish they had these in other weapons models.
Find it quite helpful and find myself doing dry fire practice more often. Although it doesn’t feel exactly like the stock Glock trigger (reset take off specifically) the weight feels the same and therefore makes it helpful for training
Great training tool. I use it fairly often for dryfire reps alongside my Mantis system. While it's not exactly 1:1 on trigger feel particularly in the 'reset' (which shouldn't deter you), it functions well as advertised. It's constant spring tension throughout the pull until it give a positive and VERY audible click, followed by the spring forcing the return to its original state. Would definitely recommend. Wish they had mags for single/stagger stacked micro compacts as well.
This mag works great. Helps with keeping good sight alignment without have to require after racking the slide. This mag recycles the trigger for you. Amazing training tool.
Works great with the mantis
Outstanding. Love it. Revolutionary enhancement to training.
Works as expected out of the box.
As a deputy sheriff who patrols an area with a lot of crime and violence, I felt a strong responsibility to stay proficient with my marksmanship, so that I could better defend myself and others. Dry firing is one of the ways I do that. I decided to buy a DryFireMag for my Glock 22 (without the spring kit). The DryFireMag has cut my dry firing time in half, because I no longer have to rack my slide and re-focus my sights on the target. Thus, I had more time to dry fire. I went to the range the next day and scored perfectly on my department range qualifications. I'm very satisfied with my DryFireMag! Just know that you might feel a difference in how the trigger breaks when you dry fire on an empty magazine well vs. having a DryFireMag inserted. At least I did with my Glock 22. That doesn't change anything as far as accuracy goes. The DryFireMag will still help improve your accuracy!
I am very satisfied with the product. While it is a little expensive, it is well worth it and it will presumably last forever. I purchased the spring kit with mine and had to install a heavier spring to match the stock one on my G19. I don't own a gauge so I do not know if it matches the same weight, but it feels the same now. It will fit in several firearms so it will be useful. If you own a weapon with a red dot you can skip the laser and let the dot train you instead. Just pay attention to your sight picture. One thing which I have never seen mentioned is that this replicates the trigger feel, your striker is not being used. You shouldn't need to worry about the internals of your firearm because the magazine is being used instead. No need to worry about snap caps when you use a dry fire magazine. If you still care you can load a snap cap and the magazine will still function and the chamber indicator will indicate it is loaded. Just be mindful not to breech load because it can be hard on the extractor in a pistol.
Great product, a little pricey, and I wish it paired with pink Rhino or other laser sights. I
This is exactly the right tool to train the brain and finger on the proper Glock trigger pull without the bad training habit of racking the slide after every shot. Well worth the cost of a few boxes of ammo and a trip to the range.
So far so good really like it
Fantastic update to an already outstanding project. My mind is already spinning with training ideas!
Works great in my P320 Max with Gray Guns trigger. Did not have to remove any components to obtain proper function. Highly recommend!
It showed up fast and worked right out of the box. This thing has already paid for itself in ammo savings.
Took the dry firing practice to the whole new level! Kinetic and auditory sensory helped more than I expected. Absolutely love it and recommend to anyone who want to improve and keep up with marksmanship.
Works great in my G 26. Does as advertised. No need to rack it for each dry fire. Allows you to work on proper grip and trigger pull. I like it. Glad I stumbled on it and got it.
I purchased the dryFire mag to help me with steadying my trigger pull I've only had it a few days, but already like what I see so much, that I've begun showing it to my firearms friends! It is well made and a quality product.
Works very well in my sig AXG grip module! Trigger pull was just over 4 pounds and was able to adjust the travel to near perfect. I was also surprised at how quickly it arrived (I live in WA) and very happy with the literature I found in my package. DryFireMag truly cares about all their customers!!
It’s great highly recommend
Exactly what I was looking for.
I’ve got a couple of these and absolutely love them! Excellent training tool!
Excellent for dry fire drills! Highly recommend!
Great dry fire training tool, especially for your sight picture.
I love this thing! It makes dryfire a lot more fun and makes me more likely to keep up with practice
Works as advertised. Needed no adjustments in the G17. Satisfied.
Great product, simple to use saves ammo and works with Mantis X. Perfect combo.
This is an amazing training tool to correct poor technique.
Excellent training tool!
A great work out for the trigger finger! Dont have to disassemble your gun and its pretty quick to set up and use. Recommended.
I have a P320 X5 with a Gray Guns competition trigger. I was concerned that it would require removing the trigger stop sleeve or some other adjustment, but it worked right out of the box. I checked the trigger pull with a Lyman digital gage. Without the DryFireMag, the average was 3 lbs 8 oz and with the DryFireMag it was 4 lbs 2 oz. I’m impressed! I haven’t used it enough to notice a difference in feel or stroke, but it seems the same. The weight of the DryFireMag is a little lighter than a real magazine with 10 rounds, but that’s a minor thing. All in all, a great buy.
Works great. Easy to set up. Also works well with Mantis Laser Academy App
Works great and really steps up my dry firing to the next level.
Love it, sure helps with dry fire practice, I highly recommend it.
Great training a aid.
Works great! Can you make one for a Glock 43?
Really happy with purchase. Finally able to work on consistent mechanics of fundamentals without breaking down grip per every shot...
This is my second ma from DryFireMag, I have another for my G19. I got my first one around 2 years ago and is working flawlessly. Pretty sure this one will last for quite a few years too. This one needed a bit of tweaking but worked without removing anything in my x5 legion, even though I have a dual adjustable trigger from Armory Craft . This is a must buy, I'd advice getting the competition spring kit, since the spring that comes with this one is quite soft imho
Very helpful in my dry fire practice and using it with laser hit. Awesome!
This is a game changer for dry fire practice. Combining the DryFireMag with a laser cartridge in the chamber is brilliant! No need to rack the slide with this system. I use this along with the Mantis Laser Academy system to practice at home. The Smart DryFireMag pays for itself by saving ammunition for the range.
Functioned in one of my three pistol variants its designed to support without any adjustments being needed. Got it on sale so thought it was worth a try. Guess its good to practice drawing and getting off a shot but kind of pointless without knowing your impact. The laser kit is only available for Glock so maybe when they get some more options I would take a look at that. This way you can actually use your own firearm for multiple shots and see the impact.
So far it’s awesome! Just need to add the mag rail attachment for my Mantis X!
Great way to improve your shooting techniques.
It pays for itself in a few training sessions. Pairs well with the Mantis X.
Great training tool. I love that you don't have to swap out any parts on your gun to enjoy rack free training. The laser is a cool addition (not totally necessary) but I wish there were more apps or e-targets that were compatible with it.
The best training tool for fundamental trigger press skill building.
Got it for my Sig P320 xCarry Spectre. Fits great. Made some adjustments to the spring to resemble more my trigger pull. Works perfect. Would definitely buy again, well worth the price.
Appears to operate as advertised. Should pair well with my Mantis X3.
The dry fire mag is a vital piece of gear, but with the inclusion of the laser, the product is light years beyond any other dry fire systems. It’s expensive but worth every penny.
Hands down the best laser trainer I've encountered. While there are plenty of other ways to get dry fire reps, none really simulate being "at the range" like this one. No more slide racking, no parts to install/uninstall, just a red laser dot with each trigger press. The system uses a modified DryFireMag that activates a laser cartridge with each trigger pull (Protip: Read the instructions before using). I can confirm that it's compatible with LaserLyte and Cheapshot targets which means endless possiblities for setting up a dry fire "range" at home. DryFireMag has been pretty awesome with customer support too. If you're still on the fence, check out their online promotional videos and video manuals. And yes, it's fun to use. A lot of fun, actually. Just whatever you do, be safe doing it, follow the four rules of gun safety, and don't get complacent.
Works even better than expected, and delivery time was excellent
What a great training tool thank you so much for a quality product!
This is great in working with finger placement, trigger reset, etc. Coupled with the MantisX, this was more of an asset since we just transitioned from a Glock platform to the Sig.
Excellent device, makes dry firing effortless. I expect my shooting mechanics will get better, which will improve my accuracy.
Brings my drive fire practice to the next level
This is a great training tool. Nice to be able to work on trigger control without having to rack the slide every time
It works great right out of the box. Had a few questions about the product and they were right there to help me through my questions.
I’m a retired NJSP Trooper, Forearms Instructor, retired CSM US Army, small arms weapons instructor! This implement is an outstanding addition to my kit that I teach with! Well done.
Im upset I didn't buy one of these earlier!! Awesome training tool and something you can use to isolate issues in your grip and trigger press that will translate to better performance during live fire.
Solid choice of tools for anytime training. The DryFireMag allows me to get my reptations in without the cost of ammunition and/or time at the range.
Love this mag! Hoping I can get one for the Sig P365X soon! This makes practicing so simple with Mantis since ammo is so expensive. Thank you!
Very Good Product, Well Built
Great training product. I wish there was one for the G48.
great product, saves a lot of ammo
Love the DryFireMag. I have a p320 xvtac, and it fits like a glove. Love the convenience amd feel of not having to rack the slide each time. Definitely recommend
The magazine worked right out of the box. No adjustment needed. I use it with my mantis x and once I adjusted the mantis setting correctly they worked great together. 400rounds in the mag worked every time and the mantis picked up everyone except maybe 10. I found those to be me not following through. With proper follow through there was no issue. I now fire 100 rounds minimum a day dry fire. I'm waiting till I hit 2k rounds dry fire before I go back to the range but I high expectations as I can feel my grip and trigger press is different already. I can't wait until they develop a system with the laser for the mantis laser academy.
Really enjoy it. Worked right out of the box I didn’t have to adjust it to work with my agency arms trigger. Only thing I i wish it had visual feedback like a laser. But overall happy with it
Excellent training aid. Especially useful for teaching trigger reset.
I can’t believe I JUST found this product
Very helpful to practice out of the range well worth the money especially for someone that consistently trying to improve their handling of a firearm.
It works great and the delivery time was great so I ordered a nother one for a friend
Once I wear out this marvelous piece of equipment, I will Definitely be buying another one. Paragon Systems, Inc. firearms instructor, John, introduced me to the Dryfiremag at the end of class on August 9,2022. I just knew that this was part of the solution to my problem. Dry fire rounds do not begin to compare to this product. Five months from now, I should be a master at target acquisition and shot placement.
easy to use and works very well I us it with my mantis x dry fire
Works great, I have a SRT pistol but this lets me practice with my EDC. Love it.
I haven't had mine long, but I have already noted some deficiencies in my trigger squeeze. This is a definite game changer. I hope they expand their inventory.
So far it is working as described. You have to give it a good "smack" to get it into the well, but that is in the instructions.
Wonderful clever device. Wish I invented it. Works great on my Glock 19. Get a Mantis to go with it; then have fun!
I have had my dry fire mag for about 6 months and it has been a wonderful training tool. My time is extremely limited so to be able to practice improving my skills at home has been of enormous benefit. I have had need of technical support on two occasions with the dry fire mag due ONLY to MY technical limitations as I am new to this "sport" and on both occasions, Gary with DryFireMag technical support has been outstanding...he was patient, extremely knowledgeable, informative, courteous, respectful, and "spot on" in each of his instructions in helping me. Kudos to DryFireMag for a great product and for having a fantastic and knowledgeable tech support guy as Gary "on board".
Great product so far
Excellent training tool. Pays for itself in no time if you run many dry fire drills. Definitely helping me get ready for my USPSA match.
I'm so happy with this product that I purchased another for my son. I'm a Law enforcement retired and my son who is also a Law enforcement and still active likes it very much. I will recommend it to anyone who wants to practice.
Love it.
This mag is a game changer when it comes to dry fire practice. Benefits both time and performance. Wish I had it sooner.
Really nice product! Does what it says very well....I wanted a dry fire system where I didn't have to re-rack after every press. Looking forward to when they combine this with a laser.
Hoping this will help me with my qualification
The mag is what I had needed to get me to really work on dry fire. I hated that I needed to rack the slide between shots. Now I can really track the front sight through repeated firings.
I was very skeptical at first on how the Smart DryFireMag with Laser would perform and the practical training it would provide. From initial setup and actual use, I am very impress with the quality and performance of the product. I highly recommend this training aid as a supplement to standard dry firing methods.
Good practice tool.
This is a great tool to have in anyones dry fire toolbox. I love this product and I contemplated for a long time on whether or not it was worth the investment. Now that I have been running it in my Glock 17 & Glock 26, this thing is a game changer. I can get quick target acquisition and sight picture without having to cycle the slide and keep my pistol on target. The textile click for the trigger pull and reset are great. This device is worth every penny. I’m going to pick up a second check one for my Springfield Armory XD9.
Love my dry fire mag. Makes doing dry fire drills so much easier and more enjoyable. You can keep firing without having to take your hands off of the gun. I wish I would have found this product sooner.
Fits great, works great-- and it was packed and shipped with speed and care. I've used it daily since it arrived and it's improving my endurance and steadiness. Thank you!
Works really well with my Glock 17, feels as the same as the trigger.
The DryFIRE MAG is an excellent training tool, we just received one and utilized it during training this week. Several agencies in our county are looking to put a few in there budget for next year..
This is the best invention. I was frustrated with my dry firing. Always having to cycle through myself. This has been a game changer. Thank you!!!
Works great in an xd 9, but WILL NOT WORK in an xd45ACP. After failure to work in the ACP I reread the listing, and realized this dryfire was designed for GAP only. This is an excellent product, and allows trigger control practice with my 9 in convenient places. Highly recommended.
Very good.
This is a great stuff! Works perfectly with Mantis x10 elite. I will highly recommend it to those who is qualifying for sport shooting competition :).
I received my dry fire mag within 6 days after ordering. I grab my P320 cleared my weapon put in the dry fire mag and without issue or tweaking worked with no issues. I have a Mantis X and had to make one change in the app and together both work without issue. Happy I finally decided to get this. I am able to dry fire practice all I want at home honing my skill and working on the muscle memory required to be an excellent shooter.
This is a solid DryFire Mag and Laser combo. I have been waiting for this combo for a long time and I must say, the wait was well worth it. When they say, “anything worthwhile is worth waiting for” they mean it. I have enjoyed not having to rack the slide after every shot. This allows me to keep both hands in the firing position and allows me to stay on target and ready for my next shot. The addition of the laser just takes the DryFire Mag to another level. I have used this combo with several laser tracking simulators without any issues. I really like using the app. It has a basic design that allows you to Name your Smart DryFireMag. It has a Programmable Round Capacity, Customizable shot counter, Lifetime shot counter and has Bluetooth connectivity. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who wants to improve their trigger control and developing good muscle memory. In order to ensure that your trigger technique is correct, you need to be able to see it. This DryFire Mag Laser combo gives you the ability to do that. Dryfire Mag Laser is a great way to develop the muscle memory when it comes to not only trigger technique but also muscle memory when it comes to your pistol. Not only do you get a quality product but if you have any issues this company stands behind their products with what I call, “Outstanding” Customer Service. They are also made in the USA.
Great product and I loved it
The Best Training tool since the original DryFire Mag, I would say. Being able to practice follow up shots with the laser is the best thing since the sliced bread. This product paired with your favorite laser training app is the way to go. Can’t go wrong with this purchase, easy to use. My household just hears me clicking away in my free time. well worth every penny. And the ability to specify round count was an added bonus, Just thought it was going to be unlimited presses. Really forces you to train reloading during training.
It’s really cool tool
Really enjoy this so far. It's nice to be able to dry fire without reracking after every trigger pull.
Works great !!!
It works as it should. You can work on double and triples. I use this in addition to my regular dry fire practice.
Works great in my new P320 RXP compact. Nice not to have to manually reset the trigger during dry fire practice.
This is fun, safe, works great and love the optional spring kit for changing trigger pull weight
It definitely improves dry fire experience but you can't fully squeeze the trigger. If you fully squeeze the trigger you have to drop the dryfiremag, rack the slide, insert dryfiremag, and begin, again. If you could fully squeeze the trigger than it would easily be a 5 star review. I can't dry fire with the dryfiremag as fast as I can shoot because of this. Price point is also why I can't give a 5star review. While it does in fact pay for itself quickly, just seems like it could be significantly cheaper. All in all a great tool. ***update*** Got it touch with Gary and he recommended the blue spring. Fixed the reset problem and now where dry firing just as advertised. Running a ZEV trigger that's between 3.2-3.5lbs (without DryFireMag) and using the blue spring. It doesn't seem to effect the trigger weight having the blue spring in. Trigger weight with DryFireMag is measuring just over 3.5lbs consistently. Ready to get rocking on dry fire drills.
This is amazing! Love it. Really allows full motion dry firing drills without having to re-rack the slide every time. Much more efficient! Great product.
Awesome product for taking dry fire practice to the next level. Reached out to customer support with a question and Gary was quick and very helpful at getting me going. 10/10 would recommend!
Great product! Works great with MantisX training system.
Had for about a week. The resistance of the trigger feels the same as when the firing pin is activated. Adjusting the trigger is very easy. Overall does what it is intended to do. My only issue, if you can say that, is when I use it with MantisX it doesn't always pick up when I pull the trigger and sometimes counts both the trigger pull and release. To be fair this product was not designed to work with said product so just FYI. As a side note was kinda taken back by all the christian literature it came with. Was not expecting that at all.
I bought one for my personal use a while ago. I used it and quickly fell in love with it and realized what a great training tool it is. I am a firearms instructor and have used it in classes to help students. Great training aid and have had no issues and it is holding up great.
Very cool idea. Helps with understanding the p330 mechanics.
Extremely satisfied. Product performs as described. Wished I would have bought the DryFireMag/Spring kit combo to begin with as I want to increase the trigger pull slightly.
Great item. Allows me to practice all day with an unloaded gun
The dryfiremag allows me to practice with my gun without having to reset the trigger after every shot. Now I'm waiting for mags to fit my other guns.
Works as described. Not the exact same trigger feel but does what I want it to do for dry fire practice. Good product.
This is worth it’s price for ammo it saves alone. The weather in my area can go to extremes and shooting is either extremely uncomfortable or unsafe so this lets me practice and train during both times. I had an issue with an O-ring that wouldn’t allow the laser to seat properly in the barrel and damaged my first unit but support replaced it immediately. The service has been great and help line has been able to walk me through my issues.
The magazine has been fantastic so far. I've been using it a lot already, the reset adjustment is very useful. The only thing keeping it from a five is that the spring kit only came with springs stronger than stock, I needed some lighter.
Works as advertised. Using with MantisX, perfect companion.
Best product I’ve used for dry fire practice with my Glocks.
Works great with my P320C! Exactly what I needed to work on smooth trigger pull and grip.
Exceptional upgrade to the original DryFireMag. I had a very minor issue with the laser when I took it out of the box, but a quick call to tech support got me in business in a matter of minutes. VERY pleased.
Easy to use and very effective training tool
Easy to use and very effective training tool
It works great right out of the box, it gives me an added edge for practicing speed draw and fire drills, as well as take up and squeeze while presenting. Great job Dry Fire. And I recommend reading ALL instructions that come in the packaging. It could save you life, for all of eternity!
Great company! It’s worth every penny.
The Dry Fire Mag will be a great addition to my training. It feels great and I am confident it will help me improve my trigger press.
Great training tool. Will really help enhance a complete dry fire training program. Highly recommended.
Love It! I can work on trigger pull with out racking the slide! Hope you start making one for the Springfield XDM!
Very nice. Works great. Referred an instructor about it.
It arrived almost instantly. Started using it right out of the box. Love not having to rack the slide every time.
Learned about this product from an instructor at my range. As soon as we received our own mags - our shooting accuracy and shooting mechanics were revolutionized. Can't thank you enough for this innovative product. Highly recommend for anyone - new to shooting or years of experience - seeking to tighten up their shooting mechanics.
Our company uses the DryFireMag in conjunction with our training system and program and we get great results.
Really helped me improve highly recommended.
Spring kit came really quick. Really helps find ideal tension in trigger press.
Great training tool to improve your performance! Ingrains muscle memory of good shooting technique into positive results at the live fire range! “It is not what a man does that determines whether his work is sacred or secular, it is why he does it. The motive is everything. Let a man sanctify the Lord God in his heart and he can thereafter do no common act”. AW Tozer
Great product. Must have gear for anyone serious about training.
I like it a lot. It serves its purpose
True to specs and operation. Great dry fire tool.
Fantastic way to up one's dryfire routine...look forward to utilizing my P320 with my MantisX system! Works great, a slight adjustment with the supplied allenwrench was all that was needed to get up and running...took all of 30 seconds to get it set.
Got this for my Wilson Combat P320 with the action trigger. Less then two minute easy adjustment that included probably a ¾ turn on the tension screw and it was ready for use. In combination with the MantisX (Use SIRT/DryFireMag profile for shot detection) it works perfectly and I easily get over 95% shot detection.
I purchased a Dryfire magazine from your company about a year ago and wanted to share my experience. Due to Covid, ammo shortages and lots of the ranges here in Canada being closed, I had dry fire practice or nothing. Your product has really helped my trigger cadence while allowing me to stay on top of my game. I had not fired a live round in over a year and when I finally got to an IPSC match a couple weeks ago, it was like I had never missed a day of live fire. I even took second place over all for my division. I have personally sent numerous people to your site to make a purchase because I really believe in it. It’s one of the best products I’ve tried over the years and can’t stop telling other firearm pistol enthusiast about it- how it will dramatically help with their trigger pull.
Works like advertised. I'm practicing trigger squeeze at home.
Works great.
Initial impression is that I love it. So far it's everything the reviews have indicated. If it holds up over time I will be completely satisfied. The pocket Bible was a nice surprise as well!
Mag has some weight to it and is sturdy. Unfortunately, didn't fit my x5 base with the ultra pro slide. The mechanism that shows you to continuously pull the trigger doesn't engage the trigger/firing pin. That's on me, though, as I thought it would work. Aside from that, I'm glad I got it and can use it on my regular P320.
Works great and does as advertised. Has some weight to it. I did attach a mantisx rail to the base so I can run the dry fire drills and it's works great when paired together.
Initial trial action close enough to actual to be useful. May make more adjustments with further use.
This is a game changer to my dry fire practice hands down the best way to practice
The Dry Fire Mag is an awesome piece of training equipment. It’s a very solid and sturdy build. Feels just like a loaded magazine in my G19. I have a factory trigger in my pistol and the trigger pull with the Dry Fire Mag in feels the same if not slightly heavier than the normal pull. I haven’t noticed any increase in travel during the trigger pull. I bought an extra one to give as a gift. Hoping they make one for the MP Shield ;).
Love the concept. Hope as sales increase you will make a dryfire mag for the Shied 9mm
Just as advertised. I use it with my mantis x2 with great feedback.
I received dry fire mag. Very fast shipping and it was well packaged. I have trained with it for a few day .I had to adjust the spring and wow I believe it to be a game changer for my training
Easy to install and works as advertised. Still have to remove mag to chamber check the weapon.
Awesome product...took it to the range the other day to introduce it to fellow Instructors......all were impressed.
An excellent apparatus for practice. Dry firing can be boring. The ability to make multiple trigger pulls gives instant feedback. Love it!
I've said some rude things about the Dry Fire mag when it first came out. For a $100 you can get yourself a high quality Tokyo Mauri airsoft pistol that mimics the same gun you own with the benefit of shooting an indoor safe projectile. However there is a very strong benefit of isolating your dry fire to not include any recoil mechanics, and it allows you to see the sight picture disturbed only by the input of your pull of the trigger. With rapid presses you can see how you grip and input is affecting the sight picture which would be masked by recoil on life fire or airsoft. It's a worthy training tool even if you have all the ammo to work with.
Will you be coming out with a P320 45 ACP model?
Works as advertised in gen 3 G34 and gen 2 G19.
Although I haven't had the opportunity to fully test the DryFireMag I purchased it appears to work as advertised. The ordering process was easy and items arrived timely.
Easy to use. When coupled with a MantisX 10 it's provided enhance dry fire training repetitions and pays for itself within the first session.
Easy to use, definitely recommend purchasing the additional spring kit to replicate your actual trigger weight. When coupled with the MantisX 10, it pays for itself in the first training session!
Great for practicing, especially since ammo is so expensive.
Great tool! Far better than re-cocking each time or taking slide out of battery.
I hope to buy one for my Gen 3 Model 21 soon. Love the concept !!
I hope you can have one for Glock 43x MOS.
One of the greatest training tools I've ever used.! Great price and saves you on ammo cost. Definitely a needed tool for the beginner to pro shooter. And thr best part is you actually get to use your own firearm with NO racking.! Thanks dryfire mag for the training item.
Completely worth the money! Can’t wait for a P365XL version.
Mag worked right out of the box. Unfortunately, I use laser cartridge in my training and your Mag would have been perfect if it supported the laser.
Simple to use, saves a lot of money, and I get much more trigger practice. The spring kit allows an exact match to my actual trigger pull. Great product!
Works as described with Sig P320F. I use with Mantis X10 perfect. Will Not be disappointed.
Love it!!!
This has helped me build up to a smooth trigger press and trigger control without having to stop and rack the slide for dry fire practice.
With the cost of ammo, dry fire training has become an even bigger benefit than it previously was. I love my DryFireMag for my XD and have it partnered with Mantis for even better training and feedback in the luxury of my own home. From the beginner to the pro, this is a great product to have for when you want to hone your skills or just can't make it to the range. This is also a great tool for teaching kids proper technique in a very safe and controlled way. I can practice with them and watch their trigger discipline without worrying about a misfire. It also boosts their confidence and engrains muscle memory for when they graduate to live fire. I can honestly say this has been my best investment for my XD pistol and look forward to your product line expanding to more models.
The online buying experience was smooth and easy, the confirmation email came right away I think it shipped the same day or early the next. Arrived quickly and exactly as described. The mag works well, and really let's you see what's happening with your trigger manipulation. I would definitely recommend getting one and using it often. Also I give high praise for their willingness to mention Jesus Christ on their website and placing tracts in the packaging, well done good and faithful!
DryFire Mag is a blessing- fantastic product- the ability to practice with out using precious ammo
I love my Dry Fire Mag for my Glock19! My kids love theirs too. It has made movie night even more fun. We can watch zombies, vampires, MSM correspondents, corrupt politicians and other monsters and gleefully shoot at them on our large screen TV. Saves ammo and still gives us the opportunity to increase our response time, aim and muscle memory. I can't wait to have one for my SS P365!
Wow! This really helps with dry fire practice
Works as advertised, great training tool.
Awesome. Ordering more fornfriends qnd family
Works well with the Sig P320
great tool especially with ammo being so expensive
Love it!
This is simply a game changer in firearms training. I am a firearms instructor, and this is a must have tool for any handgun owner. The ability to train like you would if you had a loaded mag, instead of normal dry fire practice with having to rack the side in between every shot, allows you to practice follow up shots smoothly. I use mine for tactical reload drills, drawing from concealed, and every other drill I can think of. If you are on the fence about this product, time to hop off. Get one (two would be better) today.
I started using the DryFireMag with my Mantis x10. It works very well! I didn’t want to practice racking the slide with every dry fire, this allows me to train easily.
Absolutely incredible training tool, especially given ammo prices. I cannot stress how impressive this is as an additional part of your firearms training. And instructors, why wouldn't you want to show someone how their trigger squeeze LOOKS on a tablet or phone? Such a great visual representation of what you, as an instructor, see and tell them. Sometimes video is the answer. Or on range corrections which usually is an over exaggerated movement with you holding their firearm. This speeds up their ability to "call" the mistake as they feel and see feedback. Really cool!
I purchased this item 2 months ago & really happy with it. It's very useful & it came with a mini book with biblical scriptures in it.
I have read/watched many a review on the Dry Fire Mag. I was intrigued by the opportunity to not to have to rack the slide between shots. Build muscle memory on my carry weapons trigger pull and more. Not to mention the cost savings by not having to put rounds down range every time I had a chance to practice. I decided to invest in a dry fire system of which the Dry Fire Mag is a key component. I can shoot anywhere, anytime I want without using any live ammo. As a result I have fired just over 1000 rounds and improved my shooting tremendously. Now when I do want to live fire I don't need to use my live ammo. Because of the Dry Fire Mag I don't have to come off target and rack the slide for every shot. Allowing me to be more consistent in my shot groupings. I can perform shot drills for time and get accurate results. I am able to sit and watch TV and practice my squeeze as long as I want and again I don't have to rack the slide. I use the slide with both my Springfield XD 9's. The standard and the subcompact. I works in either without a problem. Finally, a product is only as good as the company that makes it. I want to tell you that the folks at Dry Fire Mag, the owners Stan and Sally, are as good as it gets. They have worked with me over the last several months to ensure my satisfaction. The product is top notch, never an issue, the postal service on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. So order a mag for your favorite weapon and have some fun while you become a better shooter.
Also works with my Gen 2 Glock. I bought the standard model because I already have a MantisX. My MantisX scores have improved just from not being distracted by racking the slide. My beater Glock is now my favorite dry fire option.
This product is the answer! Dry fire is vital to skill development, but having to reset the slide EVERY time you press the trigger creates bad habits. The ability to have a re-active trigger completely changes the game! Waiting for the mag with Mantis to be available and will add that one to my equipment as well.
You can check out Joe Drammissi's review from Gun Owners Radio on YouTube: https://youtu.be/TtvYLMCdKYc?t=3589
I have been dry firing for several months with some intensity, but being unable to balance it out with live fire because of ammo prices, I wanted to avoid building the training scar of racking the slide after every shot. Enter DryFireMag. My first thoughts: the made-in-USA construction shows, and it's much more substantial than I expected it to be. 9mm shooters should note that if you are running a Glock 19 as I am, or a Glock 26, the magazine will protrude substantially beyond the magazine well when locked into place. It would be nice if it was flush with the grip for my pistol, but that's just not feasible for the manufacturer: it's not logistically worth it to make a different model for every single handgun. If you're using an IWB holster with a cover garment, you can still 'conceal' it to practice your draw, so it's a non issue. For competition guys and gals, it won't matter at all. Packaging was sufficient, instructions were simple, tuning was easy, and they supplied the Allen wrench and an extra black spring (I did not opt for the multi-spring pack). Overall, I'm very pleased and will definitely purchase one for my M&P Shield when it comes out.
This is outstanding! While not a full replacement to being on the range, I’ve been using this at home and the setup has paid for itself in less than a week. Outstanding feedback from mantis and great feel on the dryfire mag. Highly recommended!
In the midst of the Covid19 pandemic, many gun ranges near me have closed and continued to stay closed. Without having the luxury of shooting live rounds down range, I wanted a pistol training tool that will help me to build trigger control and simulate the trigger pull for my Glock G19x in the comfort of my own home. This is where the DryFireMag came in. I purchased the DryFireMag upon watching a few YouTube gun channels reviewing the product. I was very impressed with the concept of the tool. I was lucky enough to catch the $20 coupon special and received the DryFireMag promptly. Upon my initial usage of the tool, I was surprised to see how simple and easy it was to use it. To be frank, I was actually having lots of fun using it to where I became a bit obsessed about using it daily. So after a month of daily usage, the DryFireMag malfunctioned to where the trigger wasn't resetting and there was no audible "click". I estimate I must have pulled the trigger about a few thousand times. I contacted the customer support regarding sending the mag in for repair. The company president, Stan actually personally handled my return. I was honored. So fast forward a week or so later, I received the DryFireMag in my mailbox. I was expected to see my repaired mag. However, to my surprise, I was given a brand new mag! I was so shocked! Thank you so much for your generosity, Stan! You now have a loyal customer for life! I've been sharing the DryFireMag with friends and a few of them have made the purchase. Please consider making a model for the CZ P 10 series.
Great product buy it you won't be sorry
My first year at SHOT and I was more intrigued by stuff I found to be innovative rather than just a new take on old stuff (usually complete with flashy advertising, "operator", "EDC" or "tactical" in the marketing). I saw this and was truly happy--the table was busy as you can imagine but I got a chance to talk with the inventor briefly and immediately texted a couple of buddies. I bought both variants and love them. Now when the kids are in bed, I have added "movers" to my dry-fire time using lefties on screen while watching TV with my better half. PC? Not likely. Fun and useful? You know it. I spent the better part of my adult life traveling the world on the taxpayer's dime and started my family only after retiring. It's been good busy, but now that the kids are old enough to not feel guilty catching a match or two over the summer, and with all the extra dry fire time I'm finding with these, I'm gonna have to start competing this summer. These are phenomenal training aids and a heckuvalotta fun to boot. Well done!
I have been using the DryFireMag for over a year. It has been the most significant improvement to my training to date. I would consistently shoot to the low left (and have been for years) but I healed this training scar with consistent dry fire practice.
Is it worth the money? Yes. Please let me explain. I spent a lot of money on a lot of training devices to help me get better at shooting (USPSA, IDPA). I don't want to bash on these other products, I mean, they're great but limited. I have one device that requires CO2 to make it function. It's great because you get to practice with your actual trigger. However, it's cumbersome to use. You have to buy the CO2, fill up the device after only about 20ish shots, and it requires a lot of maintenance (periodic replacement of certain parts due to wear, refilling of CO2 tanks, etc). I didn't get the DryFireMag at the time because I thought I didn't needed it with everything else I had. Finally, I decided to get it. Wow, much better. First of all, installing the DryFireMag into the gun is as simple as reloading a fresh mag into your gun. Secondly, you can get the trigger to feel identical to your actual trigger. I mean, it's not gonna feel exactly the same obviously, you're pressing against a little spring and it makes a double popping sound. But the weight and breaking point is really all you need to worry about, and I'm telling you, you can get it identical to your trigger (I have an aftermarket trigger). And finally, and most importantly, the DryFireMag allows you to find your trigger finger fatigue point. Other products, like the one I mentioned before, does not allow you to get to that point. The CO2 product, for instance, forces to stop your trigger pulls after about 20 because the CO2 runs out. During this time of refilling the CO2, your finger is resting - no more fatigue. But with the DryFireMag, you can pull it infinitely, with every pull being identical. This is how I found out that my trigger finger starts to fatigue at around 60 trigger pulls (very quickly), at this point, pulling the trigger becomes very difficult, but it allows you to identify exactly which muscles of your hand you need for a trigger pull and to stretch the limits of those muscles. Only this way, you can develop a solid beast of a trigger finger that we all desire. It's just like working out to gain strength. You're never going to gain anything if you're not pushing yourself until it becomes difficult. That is why this DryFireMag is worth it. (If you want to become a better shooter)
This thing showed up at my door within 48 hours of the purchase. It was like magic!!! My boyfriend has been asking for one of these for months now and I’m excited Santa was able to deliver this Christmas!
I’ve developed a chronic disease since I’ve started throwing lead downrange a few years ago. It is the dreadful “Flinching” or “Jerking” Syndrome. The remedy is called “DryFireMag” and it will help you keep it under control and even cure it with dedication and ongoing practices. I enjoy using it because it’s convenient, reliable, sturdy and simple to use and American made and it comes with outstanding customer service. Moreover, you don’t need batteries and it doesn’t interfere with the performance of your equipment. If you’re a Glock and/or a M&P owner, give it also a try.
great product, i love the fact that you're using your firearm to train/practice, highly recommended
I got the dry fire mag because I flinch when I shoot. When I got the dry fire mag in the mail I took 6 weeks off from the range and did dry practice with the dry fire mag for 15 minutes a day 4 days a week. After the 6 weeks my shot groups went from 6-9 inches at 21 feet to 3-5 inches at 21 feet. This thing works. Dry practice works. The dry fire mag makes your time spent doing dry practice a lot more effecient. You will get way more trigger pulls during your dry fire practice if you're using the dry fire mag. No time wasted racking the slide a billion times. Dry practice is way more fun now. I also use the dry fire mag while at the range. I'll fire a magazine and then I'll whip out the dry fire mag and get a few dry reps in. It really helps me keep my groups tight while at the range. I look forward to my groups continuing to shrink thanks to dry practice and the dry fire mag!
Where the standard spring actually pulls the trigger bar rearwards the NY springs push up on the bar and increase the amount of force required to pull the trigger.
If you've ever been concerned about cycling the slide every time to dry fire shoot and falling back to this repetition in a real life or death situation then typical dry fire practice is a real dangerous way to train. That's why I was so excited to find the Dry Fire Mag. It lets me draw, target, dry fire and practice trigger reset all without having to rack the slide. This is such a great training tool because as good as a $400 SIRT pistol is I'm using my same holster and gun, exactly what I have in my daily carry. I'm also a USCCA instructor and being able to use the Dry Fire Mag with students that are completely new to shooting and dry fire practice is a huge benefit. We can practice with a real firearm in a safe way before going on to live fire practice on the range.
I use it on my Glock 19 duty weapon. Outstanding product to practice with.. I really saw a difference when I went to put some rounds downrange.
A friend of mine gave me a dry fire mag as a gift. I regularly outshot him at the range and I implored him to dry practice more often. He discovered the dry fire mag and bought me one when he bought himself one. I have been using it more often than I was dry practicing before and I expect to that my fundamental skills with sight alignment grip presentation and Trigger press having proved. I will have to wait until I make it to the range to verify this but more dry practice can never be a bad thing. Please make this for Smith & Wesson M&P series of pistols! I would purchase one if they were available.
Working for a large Illinois police department and shooting USPSA dry fire practice is a necessity when it comes to training. Anyone who has done dry firing with a Glock knows that the trigger can be an issue. I have used the rubber band trick, resetting trigger and SIRT pistol. They each have there pros and cons, but then comes the DryFireMag. The DryFireMag is the dry firing product that I was waiting for, no need to take apart your weapon and you're able to save money. Just have to slide the DryFireMag in and I'm ready to go with a resetting trigger that is almost identical to live fire. I would recommend the DryFireMag to anyone who wants to step up their dry fire routine to the next level or anyone who needs to work on their trigger control.
I've been using DryFireMag for 5 years now. My first mag was for my Glock G19 and works as well if not better than the first day I received it. I've spent many hours training with the device and have seen noticeable improvements with my shooting. I recently purchased another one for my Glock 41 in .45 ACP. Once I unloosened the center Phillips screw I was able to customize the trigger reset with no issues. I'm also a fan of the bright orange base plate on these mags as a visual safety measure. DryFire Magazines are a daily part of my training routine. Highly recommended.
I've been shooting a Glock 34 in USPSA and 3 Gun matches for just over a year and although everyone I shoot with was telling me I needed to start dry firing more I just couldn't get into it. Resetting my slide, dealing with a dead trigger or worse, the squishy trigger that you get when your slide is slightly out of battery, was all just too frustrating. First I purchased a Glock Reset gun, which was basically the same cost as a new Glock. The reset guns are only available in a Glock 17 and of course they come with the Glock stock sights. So I had to purchase a second magwell like the one on my 34 and a second set of sights. Only to discover that I disliked it no matter what I did to it, it WASNT MY GUN. Then I purchased a SIRT pistol, again, it only comes in a Glock 17 size, I had to put a magwell and sights on it, only to discover that the laser on it made me too target focused and it felt nothing like MY GUN. Then finally I discovered the DryFireMag and now I can shoot to my hearts content with MY GUN. I would recommend this magazine to competition shooters, LEO's and anyone who carries a Glock for personal protection. I am also a pistol instructor and I love being able to use the DryFireMag with students that are completely new to shooting. It gives us a chance to work with their pistol with out the pressure and distractions of the range. $99 is a small price to pay for the fact that every day can be a range day in your own home or office with no fees or ammo costs.
Great tool for practice dryfire i recommend this product . Now i practice everytime without spending a dime of ammo. I will like to check if there is any possibilities to find lazer bin activate by sound , if i can find one it will complete my tool for dryfire practice . Thanks for everything .
I don't know any other way you could get so much practice in. I can dry fire my Glock anytime, anywhere. Saves me a ton of ammo and makes me a better shooter. What's not to like?
I've received and been practicing with my DryFireMag. The DryFireMag's trigger pull is much better than my Glock's pull. My 22 had a good bit of travel, takes more poundage to fire, and has a softer "squishier" break, than the DryFireMag .I wish this was a gunsmithing project instead of a practice mag! But the easy adjustment of the DryFireMag allowed me to adjust the trigger's travel so that it closely matches the "squishy" trigger of my Glock I actually have to shoot with. Thanks again for the fantastic product!
Works great for muscle memory training for trigger reset. Great for body arrmor practice.
excellant product with outstanding help (highly recommended to communicate with stan) to get the trigger set right. purchased DryFireMag for a g19 with a ny1 trigger that i had then the better half decided she wanted it. so i got the dry fire mag to help her learn the way of the glock. stan inquired which trigger i had and sent it set for the ny1 and it was right on(yes i know that means terrible!). well i then changed to a standard trigger with the neg connector, about 5# and needed to adjust on the DryFireMag. contacted stan and he got back with me right away and walked me thru changing it for the new release and break. works great. we talked about pairing it up with a laserlyte training barrel. which might flash on the release and again on the reset but that would be good to show follow thru. will check back i just purchased the laser and should have it in a week or so. rod p.
I had been trying to get my shooting to the next level in USPSA and IDPA. Most of the Master shooters advocate dryfire training. I used a laser training cartridge for a while but it needed to be reset after every trigger pull plus, I found it developed a habit of becoming target focused (which is exactly the wrong thing to do). The dryfiremag allowed me to stayed focused on my front sight and call my shots after every trigger pull. It really helped with transitions and breaking my next shot quickly. A great training tool that will get you to the next level
Prompt shipping Thank you very much for the prompt shipping. I really like the product.
i am a new gun owner and the dry fire mag was very easy to install and everything I wanted it to be.
I got the DryFireMag a few days before my classifier, and it helped finalize some techniques. Because of that, I was able to sneak into Expert class in Stock Service Pistol for IDPA (by 0.36 second!!!). Your DryFireMag works as intended, and I would definitely recommend it to the Glock shooters I know. In fact, I am thinking about buying some for my friends because they also shoot Glocks.
Had the dryfiremag for about a month and have noticed an increase in the amount of time I spend dry fire practicing. It is great muscle memory without the interuption of racking the slide. Especially important is the the ability to practice controlled pairs. Definitely translating to the range
Besides my 15 minutes of fame on Top Shot, I am a retired police officer from New York where I served on my Dept's SWAT Team. Since retiring a few years ago and missing all that free training and ammo, I sought out a REALISTIC way to practice at home since regular range time here in the City is a real hassle! I tried a reseting trigger which was great but you have to disassemble the gun to use it! A Glock 19 airsoft pistol...better than a blue gun but not the right feel. I then bought a SIRT pistol which I still use...it is a great tool but not the exact "feel" as the real thing so I continued looking for something to compliment the SIRT. A few Google searches later and I found the Dryfire Mag. What an incredable training device! Unload your gun, pop the Dryfire mag in place and fire away! Actually, when I tried it for the first time I felt that eureka moment! As a police officer what I like best about the mag is that you are training with the same gun that you will be carrying. Nothing replicates the "real thing" like the real thing. One of the lessons that I learned from my years as a SWAT officer is that in real life you will, without thinking about it, do exactly what you do during training, so you want your training to be as realistic as possible...using the same gun, same holster, same everything. I'm sold on Dryfiremag! Another thought... if Robert Vogel uses the Dryfire Mag then enough said!
Dry Fire Practice is important for accuracy and being able to perform under stress, but I was worried that I was going to program the wrong thing into my muscle memory with my Glock because I was having to cycle the slide every time. With the DryFireMag I can practice as long as I want without cycling the slide, and I get the feel of the trigger breaking. The trigger feel isn't the EXACT same as without the DryFireMag, but it does reset the triger each time. Works great!
I love the way the Dry Fire Mag allows me to draw, come to target, fire, and practice trigger reset all with out having to rack the slide. I bought this and a laser lyte target system. I hoped the trigger click the dry fire mag made would activate the laser, but it doesn't. No matter Dry Fire mag is great!
While competing in a USPSA match yesterday, I was getting frustrated with my performance, so my friend, K.H., a Master in Production, asked me whether I dry fired. I said “No”, so he showed and let me use his Dry Fire magazine in my Glock 17 Gen 3. He swore by it. My other friend, E.B., who exclusively shoots the 1911 platform, is thinking of getting a Glock and your product as well after trying it in my friend’s Glock.” After getting home, without hesitation, I purchased the DryFireMag online
